Anyone can search by keyword or by category for products and services on GSA website without registering for a user ID and password.
To order from the GSA website requires registration with the website.
Login and Orders: Your 3 most recent orders can be seen on your GSA Advantage home page. All orders, historical orders, status, cancellation and re-ordering can be seen on the Order Status/History Page. Note that items with a 1 day delivery cannot be canceled. GSA Advantage does not provide invoices so it is recommended to print from your Order Status page.
Idle Login: When your GSA Advantage session has been idle (inactive) for more than 60 minutes, the session will automatically be timed-out and a "Session Terminated" message will be displayed. Note: items in your shopping cart will be lost when your session is timed-out. Please "Park" your shopping cart if you will be away longer than 60 minutes.
Requisition Status of GSA NSN items: Order status for GSA requisitions is updated daily. To get status on a GSA requisition, use one of the following 2 methods:
- From the GSA Advantage home page, click on the "Requisition Status" button. You will be prompted to enter the requisition number. Login is not required. All GSA requisitions, including those not submitted through GSA Advantage are available using this method.
- In Order Status/History, GSA Requisitions created in GSA Advantage are available for viewing. Note: If you did not create the order in GSA Advantage, you will only be able to use method 1.
Searching the GSA Website
Key word searches may be narrowed by suggested category selections. General or special category searches focus on special interests of government purchasing agents such as environment and disaster relief.
Each category is arranged in a super category and subcategory structure. Each subcategory is designed so that each successive subcategory level narrows your search results. Look for any services related to your search in the first level subcategory entitled "Additional". Your results may be sorted by factors such as price, part number, products name, manufacturer, contractor or contract number.
Your results maybe further refined and sorted by a variety of filters by selecting "More Refine Options"
- Use the quick checkbox of options to refine your results by. For example, you choose to only show items that are CPG compliant, environmentally friendly, and a specific socioeconomic business status. There are over 20 selecting filters to refine your results with.
- You may remove specified filters on the Search results page by clicking on the gray X located next to that filter.
- You may also view all manufacturers or contactors by clicking on links located at the bottom left of the "Refine My Search Results" page
